The geometry is the product
The rule repeated across these threads is a smooth pole, a baffle high enough that a squirrel cannot jump above it, and roughly ten feet of clear air from any fence, roof, branch or railing. Get that right and the feeder choice stops mattering.
Wobble is a feature, not a defect
Owners note that a baffle which tilts and rocks when grabbed is what defeats the determined climbers, because they cannot get purchase on a surface that moves under them.
